When you override a machine that is non mountable, that override is for a limited time and will wear off. However, you can make it permanent. For this, the lasting override ability to be at level 4. You can upgrade lasting override in the skills tree to level 2.

Is horizon forbidden west better than dawn?
Otherwise, the story behind FW is considerably less compelling. So, in summary: Forbidden West is more expansive and visually amazing. Zero Dawn has a better plot line and in my opinion, better characters. I can't quite decide which game I prefer, so I'm interested to hear your thoughts.
