Do ps5 games take up less space on disc?

Basically since PS3 generation games will fully install on the consoles onboard storage, and the disc is then only used as an 'access key' essentially, just like a PC. So in case anyone was wondering, no the PS5 disc edition wont benefit from any extra storage as no data is streaming from the disc during gameplay.
