Can you lose your own ship in sea of thieves?

Never fear! If you lose your ship in any way or you scuttle your ship will be returned to your full patched up with planks, so if you want you can pay the Shipwright to restore the cosmetic damage or just set sail again as you are.

Do you lose your ship if it sinks in sea of thieves?
when your ship gets sunk, it just respawns at an outpost or random island. All you lose is whatever loot you had on board (unless you can get back to where you were fast enough, sink your aggressors, and steal it back), whatever supplies you had gathered up, and your emissary flag if you were running one.

Will there ever be a 6 player ship in sea of thieves?
No, it's 4 people max. There are some ways to work around the limitation, by playing with the invitation system (you need other player to cooperate with you) but the other players will still respawn in their own ship.

Is there a 5 ship limit in sea of thieves?
There is no minimum crew size, even for larger Ships, and even a single player can elect to start a new game with a large Galleon (though operating such a large Ship alone would prove difficult). The servers are currently capable of holding up to 5 ships at one time, with a maximum of 16 players total.

Can you buy multiple ships in sea of thieves?
To purchase another ship of the same type, you will first need to progress through your first ship's Milestones enough to earn a Legendary Title. For example, you'll need to unlock a Legendary Ship's Title on your first sloop before you can buy a second sloop. The same goes for the other two ship types.
