Fallout 3 and New Vegas are both 32 bit, so with both games you'll get stutter frequently. But in Fallout 3 I would crash every 15-30 minutes, while in New Vegas I could play for hours without a single crash. I never understood why people had issues with stability. I've never had a crash in any of the Fallout games.

If you're more of the imaginitive type like myself, you can come up with a pretty cool backstory for your characters as well. Concidering that in Fallout 3 you start as a child and in Fallout New Vegas you start as a young adult.
