Why is 90 fov the default?

Even a really big screen (like 50-60 inch) would have a much narrower angle to the sides of the screen. When the in game FOV is diverged from this 'natural' FOV is when people get headaches/motion sickness playing games. This is why the default should be 90 on PC games and 65-70 on Console games.
