I've played it before but now it's been like ages to load. Why? It has nothing to do with your computer and everything to do with the peer to peer system that GTAO runs off of. You're simply having trouble connecting to some other player in that session and that's why it sometimes takes 10 years to load you in.

It pretty much depends on your PC specifications. Mine usually takes 3–4 minutes. If you need faster load times, I recommend using a SSD , install your game on the SSD and it will pretty much take only a minute or two.
