Is 2100 a good puzzle rating?

2100 puzzles are hard, and often not intuitive. I think anything that qualifies as "really long puzzle" or "mate in 5 or more"... wait is that still a puzzle or do you just want me to play a whole game against computer moves? And you get into quite a lot of those in puzzles rated over ~2000.

Is 1200 a good chess rating for a 14 year old?
Beginners are welcome, 1300 is more than enough. The best 16 year olds are at least master strength already. A competitive rating for a national under 16 tourney would be around class A to expert, lets say 1700-2100. You're not going to win the whole thing but you'll be in the pack somewhere.
