Just a quick reminder that, as ever, some exclusions apply. Namely, Sims who already possess a permanent occult life state (i.e. vampire, mermaid, ghost, Servo robot, spellcaster, or alien) can't become a werewolf without first renouncing their old supernatural affiliation and all its associated powers.

Can you make an existing sim a spellcaster in cas?
You can make a premade Sim a spellcaster using CAS. Once CAS is open, click on the bottom left to add a new sim. A small pop-up menu should appear, click "occult", then click "spellcaster". This should create a Sim who is a spellcaster.

Can you make an already created sim a spellcaster?
Sadly, there's nothing you can do to convert your existing favourite Sims into Spellcasters while in Create-A-Sim - short of painstakingly recreating them from scratch.

What to do after becoming a spellcaster sims 4?
Once your Sim becomes a Spellcaster, they'll gain access to their own Spellbook, which includes Perks and castable Spells, and a Glimmerstone which lets them fast travel back to The Magic Realm from anywhere without needing to use the Mystical Portal. They will also gain the Spellcaster Charge meter.
