Can you customize hawke in dragon age 2?

as with the default setting on Mass Effect, the default option for hawke can't be customized at all, if you wish a custom hawke, there is no other option but to choose one of the presets and customize from there. also the defaut hairstyle for female hawke is imposible to obtain in a custom build.
