To cancel a heist, you need to call Lester. The option to cancel the current heist will be there. He will then call you later in the game session to allow you to start the latest heist that you have access to.

On 2nd playthrough you dont get that bonus anymore, still you get the normal pay. There is a huge point in replaying heists if you complete additional challenges. Some of the challenges can pay up to 1mil extra on top of normal pay. Why do people drop out in the middle of an online GTA V heist?
