If the mod was installed through Steam Workshop, then you can easily remove it by going to the game's Workshop page, finding the mod in question, and clicking the "unsubscribe" button. This will remove the mod from your game, and you won't have to worry about deleting any files.

Just do the original with mods. SE just makes putting the mods on easier, but you lose a lot of mods because there is no SKSE. Plus the graphical differences are fixed with mods so there is really nothing different.

Make sure you've downloaded the Latest Version of the mod. Make sure you've properly installed SKSE and SkyUI. Make sure you aren't using Incompatible Mods. First try disabling then re-enabling the mod by going to MCM > General and unchecking "Enabled"
