"5ms" is OK for 75Hz gaming. You don't seem to understand. 5ms is fast enough for 75hz in the sense that it will be finished drawing each new frame by the time the next frame is sent. But 5ms is still slow pixel response time and will lead to lots of smearing irregardless of refresh rate.
