No you don't. None of the characters from the original trilogy are in andromeda, it's set in the andromeda galaxy rather than our own, hence the name and that also means you won't be visiting any of the planets or locations from the original trilogy.

Why did mass effect andromeda fail?
It was made by Bioware Montreal, who hadn't made the first games. They seem to have been under a lot of constraints from EA. Forced to change game engines, which ment they more or less had to remake the game from scratch, and couldn't reuse and refurbish Mass Effect 3's systems.
