Promods is safe so long as you get it from Promods, reason i pay for the download...to support Promods, £1.50 every few months is nothing for Promods and truck and trailer mod, just a shame that they have connection issues with Rusmap from time to time.

How to play ets2 without lag?
Start the game and get to your in game location before driving. Hit cntrl-alt-delete to start task manager, in processes tab find eurotruck.exe and right click on it and choose "set affinity". Uncheck all the processor except for 1. I chose the last one to be checked only #3.
