Elden Ring is not based on Lord of the Rings. Like most modern fantasy, it does draw some inspiration from LotR, but it's its own totally separate universe. Elden Ring isn't in the same series as Dark Souls, either. It does have similar game play though.

The elden beast is a massive tank, glitches the camera has completely unfair area of effect, and literally undodgeable attacks. Godskin duo is the worst fight in the series. Worse than even bed of chaos. The Godskin mini bosses on their own are very frustrating to fight, but fighting both of them is just awful.
