Do i lose my character after the season diablo 3?

At the end of each Season, all Seasonal Heroes will be moved over to the existing non-Seasonal Hero pool. All items, currency, and materials obtained by your Seasonal Heroes will be made available to your regular Heroes. Items that were in your Seasonal stash will be sent to you through the in-game Messages system.

Should i play diablo 3 seasonal?
If you're just starting to play for the first time there is no reason to not make a seasonal character. At the end of the season all seasonal characters become non seasonal with their gear transferred as well. If you wish to play seasonal next season, you will need to make a new character.
