After the final mission, the player will be able to explore the world and continue completing other side quests. They won't load the save file from before the final mission, instead, they'll simply continue on from where they left off at the end of the story, similar to how Horizon Zero Dawn handled it.

Otherwise, the story behind FW is considerably less compelling. So, in summary: Forbidden West is more expansive and visually amazing. Zero Dawn has a better plot line and in my opinion, better characters. I can't quite decide which game I prefer, so I'm interested to hear your thoughts.
