Selkiemore. We don't actually get to see the selkiemore, just its guts splattered all over Geralt. It's supposed to be a gigantic sea-creature with razor-sharp teeth that's so massive that it can swallow ships whole. It rises up from beneath a frozen lake and swallows Geralt in one gulp.

Should i play monster hunter world before iceborne?
I recommend this, because the base game content will be irrelevant (in terms of almost everything) for the most part if you decide to do it after you start Iceborne. That's why recommend doing everything before moving on for good. It is still relevant, in the sense that you will want to unlock those ingredients etc.
