Unfortunately, by all indication we have, the Resident Evil 2 remake will be an entirely single-player affair, and the campaign is not playable in online or split-screen co-op. There may be two main characters, Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield, but they stay entirely separate for the length of the campaign.
