Are steam decks still getting stolen?

I know it's probably not a widespread issue, but regardless, it's still happening. I would recommend anyone who purchases a steam deck to do will call on their deck if possible. Valve not only investigates each claim but they also insure each Deck.

Steam Support does not restore lost items. Items often exchange hands multiple times before a restoration request and this means they cannot be restored without duplicating them or removing them from another innocent user's inventory.
