Can you overkill psu?

If it is bad then it will likely cause crashes randomly, or when using your CPU or GPU a lot as these activities draw the most power. Obviously if the PSU is bad and you start drawing a lot of power it will cause it to malfunction more. Possibly even causing random freezes, crashes, and reboots.
